Different Kitchen Faucet Styles

If you want to install a new faucet, there are a number of styles available for your kitchen. A new faucet is not only water efficient but can give your kitchen sink area a whole new look.

Pull out and single handle faucets

Pull out spray faucets are a variety of faucet utilizing a spray nozzle and operated by a single handle. These faucets are useful in busy kitchens for convenient cleaning of dishes and for washing away sink debris. Single handle faucets are available without a spray attachment and operate by delivering different temperatures of water dependent on how far to one side the handle is set.

Dual handle faucets

Dual handle faucets include such varieties as center and widespread handle configurations. Center handle faucets are constructed with hot and cold handles offset from the faucet but with handles and faucets set upon the same base. Widespread faucets also utilize hot and cold water handles, independent of the center faucet piece.

Vessel sinks

Vessel sink faucets are constructed over a water-bearing vessel. These vessels are designed for either decor or practicality, and tailor sink areas to the overall look of a kitchen.

Finding the right kitchen faucet is as simple as understanding the purpose of the kitchen area. For the typical home kitchen, form and function are easily combined into one appealing and practical faucet, while more decorative styles are useful for kitchens that are not subject to much traffic. For service kitchens in large homes, practical faucet designs are available to facilitate cooking and cleaning.
